Since the film has now been playing in theaters since late December, the secret is out about Maguire and Garfield's cameos, so Marvel has become more comfortable including them in promo material. Since neither Garfield nor Maguire's Spider-Man rubbed elbows with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, they were left confused. Spider-Man: No Way Home featured many surprising moments, but arguably its most highly-praised scenes were ones in which Holland, Maguire and Garfield's Spider-Men interacted, and particularly one in which Holland's Peter Parker mentions that he was in the Avengers. The Tom Holland-led MCU film is nearing the end of its global theatrical run, and with that, marketing for No Way Home's home and digital release has begun.
